Repairs to a device or an appliance covered by the law have a 3-month warranty. That means that if the problem comes back within 3 months after the repairs were made, the person who did the repairs must repair the device or appliance once again, free of charge. This warranty includes parts and labour.

In addition, you have recourse options against the repairperson if the repairs are poorly done or more expensive than expected.
