A merchant that sees a formal notice listed in its profile in the Get Information About a Merchant tool can add complementary information to that formal notice in order to argue its position.

The merchant can do so in the 2 following situations:

  • the merchant contests the facts reported in the formal notice;
  • the merchant believes it has made a reasonable offer to the consumer.

Procedure to add complementary information to a formal notice

A merchant can have a note added to a formal notice associated with its profile in the Espace commerçant section (in French only).
