Appointment of a provisional administrator
On July 24, 2018, the Office de la protection du consommateur appointed PricewaterhouseCoopers as the provisional administrator to manage the Vacances Sinorama Inc. agency.
The Office came to this decision as a result of the travel agency’s failure to comply with legislative requirements regarding the management of the sums paid by its customers. The President also sent a notice to Vacances Sinorama Inc. advising the agency of its intention not to renew its travel agent licence.

On August 7, 2018, the Office de la protection du consommateur announced its decision not to renew the licence of the Vacances Sinorama Inc. agency.
