Here is how to cancel your television service contract.

Is advance notice required?

It is within your rights to terminate a television service contract at any time. To do so, you must simply advise the service provider verbally or in writing, preferably by registered mail.

Should you desire, you can terminate your contract immediately upon giving notice to your service provider. You are under no obligation to provide advance notice. Upon cancelling the contract, you will no longer have to pay for the service.

Cancellation fees

The service provider may charge you cancellation fees if you terminate your contract.
