Advertisements made by travel agencies are subject to certain rules. The agencies are required to mention specific information such as the price, the content and the validity period of the advertised offers.

Advertisements and their required content

The law requires all written travel advertisements to include the following information:

  • transport services, accommodation and meals included in the trip;
  • name of the airline carrier;
  • duration of the trip;
  • total amount you are required to pay if the price of the trip is indicated;
  • the period during which the trip can be purchased at the advertised price.

Only the following fees can be added to the advertised price:

If applicable, the advertisement must clearly state that these fees will be added to the cost of the trip.
