Recourse to CAMVAP
The Canadian Motor Vehicle Arbitration Plan (CAMVAP) allows consumers and automobile manufacturers to settle disputes concerning manufacturing defects or the application of a new car warranty.
If you have done everything possible to have the problem corrected by your car dealer, to no avail, you may be eligible for CAMVAP.
This program is designed to guarantee that a neutral, unbiased arbitrator hears the case and renders a decision that is fair for both the consumer and the manufacturer.
The arbitrator holds a hearing to get your viewpoint and that of the manufacturer. After having examined all of the evidence presented, the arbitrator will hand down a final, enforceable ruling.
